still working to help God make this World a better place
“Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.”
The heart, the centre of our personality, is pure when free from moral corruption. The Greek word for “pure”; katharos, signifies cleanliness, being untainted.
A “Pure of heart” has integrity, sincerity, and good intentions, free from deceit or ulterior motives. It is honest, kind, and compassionate.
A person with a pure heart, guided by the words of Jesus, ”What you do to the least of mine, you do unto me,”(Mt25,40) helps others to improve their lives, not for personal gain or recognition.
A pure - loving – heart looks outwards and is thus capable of resonating with, to sense with faith, God’s presence in SON: in self, in others and in nature.
With a pure heart you never feel alone. You sense that God is with you like gravity; always silently there.
Alive with God in your heart, you will aim to cultivate virtues like love, patience and generosity (LPG) through consistent practices such as self-reflection, forgiveness, and honesty.
However, be mindful of the people you befriend. It they are dodgy, their attitudes and behaviours can “rub off” on you.
Spend time meditating on the Gospels to get to know the wonderfully attractive personality and character of Jesus Christ.
A pure heart enables you to live in the Kingdom of God, the state of divine love, close to Jesus Christ.
