Prof. Msgr. Vladimir Felzmann aka Father Vlad
still working to help God make this World a better place
“You are my son, the beloved, my favour rests on you.”
At our baptism we were in-christed – christened. Without the audio-visuals at The Jordan, God said to us, “You are beloved child. My favour rests on you.”
The older I get and the more people have got to know - personally or reading their biographies - I realise ever more profoundly how blessed my life as a Christian has been. Beloved by God, I have been treated with great favour by our Saviour.
My three B’s have been enriched beyond my childish imaginations. I belong to God the father, my belief - my perception of reality - is that of Jesus and my behaviour – though never perfect - is shaped by the Holy Spirit.
As I suspect you know, the name 'Jesus' literally means “God saves.”
I know why I am on earth: to be the hands of Christ making the world a better place. Through what I do, teach and love.
As many of you know, the title of my autobiography is “A Journey to Eternity”. I see death as birth into the final stage of my life: an unending life of love with God.
So, as I wrote in my Christmas card this year, “In spite of all the violence that swirls around the world, may your New Year full of peace, delight, joy, love, generosity and hope.”
I hope and pray yours will be like mine, like this.
This 2025,a Jubilee Year, should be packed with gratitude for all we have and are. Worshipers here at Kensington Square. Thank God.
