Musings

The head knows

All is well

though 

the heart’s deep ache

witnesses 

that grief 

is the price of love.

Bereaved and grieving

I am 

In the company

Of so many

Who too

Are in pain.

Happiness is not wanting 

anything

you do not have and 

going from failure to failure

without losing hope.

The beauty

of flowers, music, trees  

sunrises, sunsets

and friends

hint at life in Paradise.

Thank God.

Our brain

enveloped by the skull

sees

thanks to our senses

day by day 

fresh light.
