Jesus Christ said, “Do not worry about your life”
Our life comes in three stages.
The first, in our mother’s womb
There, we could not breathe, or know anything about life outside (though apparently, we could hear sounds and remember music we had heard). Then, after some nine months, we were pushed out, started to breathe and for the first time, see our mother’s face.
And here we are; breathing, learning, making choices that shape our heart and spirit and our relationship with God, our soul.
I call my memoirs “A Journey to Eternity.” Our life is just that. How we live that journey shapes us for life in eternity.
At our death, this second stage comes to an end and we leave this womb of space-time to be born into our third and final stage and for the first time see the face of God - and discover what Paradise is really like.
“No eye has seen, no ear heard, what God has prepared for those who love him.”
We are on earth to learn to love to love. As Lena did.
Being human, she was not perfect but, when I anointed her, she as it were asked Jesus, “remember me in your Kingdom”. And as the Good Thief heard, “today you will be with me in paradise .”
One day we shall also be there with Lena.
May we too learn to live to love and with our lungs of love to be able to breathe the life that is heaven .
